"Operational disaster in terms of managing units. Unyielding towards student requests. Lac of tutors. Unsupportive student hub. Living upto its bad Reputation ! Heavily disappointed. Money is the key driver for this Uni. Even after paying 32000AUD for 1 year, they still wanna charge students for using the GYM or even a playground. Cracks me up. There are better Unis in 3rd word countries! Wasted my time and money!"
"ECU CAN MAKE YOUR 2 YEARS COURSE TO 4 YEARS WITHOUT ANY REASON I am an international full-time student enrolled in the 2-year nursing program at ECU. Recently, I discovered that I still have 2 more years left to complete my degree, despite already being 1.5 years into the program. This unexpected news has caused significant distress, which is exacerbated by the lack of support and accessibility at the university. Unfortunately, attempts to discuss this matter with ECU have proven challenging, as appointments with advisors or counselors are only available after a waiting period of 2 to 3 weeks. But I don’t have time because I have to enrol with in a week. This is a reason why students get mental stress and do suicide"
"Serene atmosphere, smells great, always wonderful walking through"
"ECU OPEN DAY JOONDALUP 2023 Last Sunday, my son William and I attended this event and it was nothing short of fantastic. William is in Year 11 at Trinity and final decisions regarding study directions and university pathways are front and centre. Whilst I was hoping for Will to explore the Education sector he was focused on two faculties. The first of these was the Arts where we were greeted by the lovely Doctor Tiffany who was incredibly informative regarding the Criminology Psychology Justice Degree. We really felt excited hearing about the outcomes of this degree. It was also explained how a further three years would see Will graduate as a fully qualified psychologist, who could wear three hats. Doctor Katrina was lovely too and came over to meet us and give us the Prospectus. After such a warm experience, we then visited the Business Studies Pavilion. This was equally awe inspiring as Doctor Joanna and Doctor (just checking, will update) shared the news regarding the new state of the art city campus which conveniently fits with Wills first year of uni in 2025. As he is in the city already, this does seem a feasible progression. This is applicable to the Business/Commerce The ladies also explained how Will could mix his electives between faculties should he want to embrace the best courses from two separate degrees. As Will is enthusiastic about two degrees , this is the perfect meld of interests and potential outcomes. After leaving the tent we popped down to the sitting area besides the created lake where we took in the surrounds and the valuable information we received. Awesome day ECU !!!"
