"I booked my car for a service however the car needed other things to be done done. The car was tolled to the premises by RAC, my husband took the parts to be fixed to Autobahn on Monday afternoon. It was expected that the car would not be ready on the day. My husband advised the corine at the front desk that I was going to pick up the car, as he was travelling abroad. As I didn’t get a call during the day, I called and Corine answered the phone and I explained that I was inquiring about my car. She was very dismissive and disrespectful and immediately greeted with “What about it, what do you want to know” and stated that the owner of the car was aware that it was not going to be ready. She proceeded to say that since I had another car at home, I didn’t need to know about the car being repaired. So when the day comes to pick the car up, she doesn’t even greet me or say anything. She’s slamming the eftpos machine on the table, ignoring my request for credit and shoving the receipts in my face. I find her attitude disgusting, reading through the other reviews on her I’m shocked that a person this pompous and nasty is employed to work as an office manager. Will NOT be returning to this place, MyCar has better customer service, I took my daughter car there and I was treated with respect. If you want to support local businesses go to myCar."
"Autobahn Banksia Grove is the only place I will be taking my car from now on, the whole family will be going there too. Usually I feel totally foreign going into a mechanic shop, but the owner explained things to me in a way I could understand and I felt super comfortable there, the customer service is excellent, and very to the point! For new brakes, a service and globes changed, i couldn’t be happier with the price! I highly recommend Banksia Grove Autobahn! Plus having my car cleaned before coming back to me is a massive weight off the shoulders! A million times thank you guys!!❤️"
"I take my car to get serviced at Autobahn Banksia Grove. I find the lady at reception is very welcoming. If indeed extra repairs done on my car they text me before they do the job so I can approve or not. I would recommend them to anyone always willing to help."
"I was very happy with my service, the technician was very knowledgeable in diagnosing and resolving a fuel issue with my vehicle. I had a full service, a fuel problem sorted, wash and a vacuum! 5 stars from me and I’ll be a returning customer. Great job guy’s, thank you."
"Honestly, they do not even deserve a one-star rating. I recently purchased a new car and decided to have it fully inspected due to some electrical issues and the smell of petrol. I tried to give them a previous report from a different mechanic as a reference point but strangely they didnt need it. After paying for the inspection, I was promised a full report within a couple of days. However, a week and a half later when I contacted them, they claimed to have lost the report but assured me they would send it right away. Unfortunately, they failed to do so, despite my follow-up email. Finally, they emailed me a list of items that needed attention. Trusting their expertise, I proceeded to address what I believed to be urgent. When I went to pick up my car, they informed me that I needed a wheel alignment. Strangely enough, they were unable to perform this service and directed me to a nearby establishment. Within just 15 minutes of leaving, the new shop called me to inform me that there was a fuel tank leak. I was under the impression that this issue had been fixed, so I mentioned that the receipt outlining the repairs should be in my car. Regrettably, the leak remained unresolved. It was their one-year apprentice who noticed the smell and identified the drenched tank, even going as far as lifting the back seat to locate the source of the leak. Disappointed, I returned to Autobahn and questioned the female owner about why this problem had not been identified or repaired. Rather than taking responsibility, she defensively asked why the other mechanic had even bothered lifting the seat. I explained that the mechanic noticed the leak and the strong smell, but she denied that her own staff members had detected it. According to her, it should have been my responsibility to bring the leak to their attention. When I expressed my frustration and requested a full inspection, she dismissively asked, "What do you want me to do now?" They charged me $1200 for repairs, along with the $180 inspection fee, without providing a comprehensive inspection or resolving the initial issue. Shockingly, they showed zero accountability and did not even offer to fix the problem. This has easily been the worst experience I have ever had with any business and its personnel."
