"Disappointed with the lack of empathy and straight up dismissal of my concerns, even from the first appointment. I was in so much pain, severe emotional distress and having 6 week periods. I was told it was normal and couldn't be helped. It took me crying hysterically to be offered surgery since my scans and bloods were fine. Not even 2 weeks after surgery, I started bleeding which at first just thought a normal period. Around the 2 week mark of my bleeding i called to ask for information, im told a 6 week period is normal and that was it. Now into December, its barely stopped, its been almost 6 awful months straight of this mess. I didnt bother calling based on my previous experience and didnt want to be dismissed yet again. Ive since gotten a second opinion who says the surgery was poorly done and my endo was not removed properly. Ive been having a really rough time with my health issues, and having to beg to be taken seriously on top is really frustrating and upsetting. Im also on disability pension, so the added financial strain of it all has been awful. Please dont waste your energy here."
