"Don't bother even asking for a quote if you are a private consumer looking for a kitchen/bathroom renovation. As the business advised me after 3 months the focus is on insurance repair work. So, after a site inspection, measurements being taken & several follow ups on my part with promises a quote will be sent all I got was a 1 paragraph statement saying, "We can estimate approximately $60,000 for works, which would include a tile allowance of $35/m2, standard MDF cabinetry selections, upgraded hardware and fixtures." No detail at all so how are you supposed to compare quotes. Best advice from them was we'll finalise cost closer to work commencing. Not much use as you need to lock in work months ahead these days with no idea what it will really cost."
