"Nice area with water and grassland. Head to the other side of the dam for an amazing sunset view"
"Great place for a picnic, with playgrounds, toilets and BBQ, and plenty of space for ball games. Clean and well maintained. The playground area is also good for young children if you want to keep away from the water - as it a quite a distance to the water edge, although there are other picnic spots by the water. Due to its proximity to the spillway and dam wall, this is a NO swimming area. If you want to go swimming or boating then try the Logan’s Inlet Day use area."
"The first Wivenhoe park on the way from Brissy. It offers a great time to spend with the family. Great landscape, clear water, plenty of clean park benches and tables. I would come back for sure!"
"Absolutely love this place. I go here everyday before work to meditate and give thanks to mother nature for all the beauty that surrounds us. A place of peace, comfort and true beauty."
"It was a beautiful day and we had our Catalyst Woman's Group together for our hike and then morning tea and games on what we found along the way of our hike. 2.5 klms walk was just fabulous. It is such a pretty place with lots of things for the children to do. Sadly, dogs were not allowed. I will be back, great for birthday party's, etc. Toilets are there. Great place."
