"Our daughter started some weeks ago. It has been a big challenge for all of us, specially because we are not from here and she does not speak English yet. But we could not be more thankful with the teachers and the director. We can tell how much they care for our daughter and all the efforts they make for her to feel good and included. They even try to learn some Spanish words to communicate better with her. Drop offs are still challenging for her, but when we pick her, she is so happy and tell us how much she loves her teachers. We feel really confident that she is in good hands. I highly recommend the childcare. It is beautiful and cozy. Thank you to all C &K team!!!"
"Well managed daycare! Lovely, professional and caring educators! C&K QUT Kelvin Grove is a friendly place for kids to grow and learn about nature and environment."
"My daughter who is 15 months is really happy here. She previously went to a daycare with 12 plus kids to a room and a high turnover of staff. Her new toddler room at C&K is no more than 8 kids. The educators Sharmin and Earn have made a real effort to help create a calm and happy atmosphere making it easy for my daughter to settle in. There’s a lovely natural outdoor shared space with trees, rocks, sandpit, mud kitchen… staff are friendly and professional, food is fresh and made at the centre by a chef and they have a new sustainability program. Haylea the director started at the centre at the end of 2022 and I’ve found her genuine and interested in making the centre the best it can be."
"When picking up my daughter who is 1 and half I found her on the floor eyes rolling and head bobbing around, about to collapse of exhaustion I picked her up and she feel asleep straight away. Workers where within a metre from her talking amongst themselves. Advised manager the next day of the incident. Formally complained and decided my daughter would not return. Received this in response when i requested for a follow up "There is no physical report to send through, but there has been conversations held between HR, educators and my manager, which remains confidential documentation. " Very disappointed. Would not recommend to anyone especially POC"
"Very inclusive environment. Loved the teachers and educators who put in so much effort to acknowledge each child as an important member of their community. My daughter went there for over 3 years and she blossomed each year. The kindy teachers celebrated festivals of different cultures and were very receptive to feedback and throughout the years. We miss it a great deal."
