"A great nature walking. Lots of birds, plants and lizards to see. Kids had a great time there. You cannot see it all in one day and you need to come back. We also had lunch in the café. A great food, fair price and it was prepared very quick."
"I had a great experience during my first visit with child on a weekday. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the entrance was clean and welcoming. The park had various types of flowers and gardens, including African Region plants, American region plants, bonsai house, and Japanese garden. Although I couldn't explore the entire park, but I will planning to visit again."
"This is FREE. This could easily take you a day of wandering around all the different garden sections. I really liked it and as you can see I took loads of photos. The food is also great here from the quiche to the veggie breakfast. Relax and enjoy as you wander around and don't forget to appreciate the hard work at the Bonsai area."
"Very nice gardens with many well maintained walking paths. Great views of downtown Brisbane. The Bonsai tree exhibit was exceptional with gorgeous specimens going back to the 50's and 60's. The Japanese garden was very nicely done. The war veterans memorial was beautifully designed. Many magnificent trees, plants and greenery. The birds were absolutely beautiful with billiant colors and delightful sounding calls. Even though the parking lot was almost full, the trails were very peaceful and quiet. No entrance fee."
"Outstanding gardens in the city with excellent variety of plant life and great facilities for visitors. Plenty of parking, clean toilets and a good restaurant too. The grounds are well maintained and very clean. There are playgrounds for kids and nice pond areas for picnic. Highlights for us were the Japanese bonsai garden and the domed tropical hothouse with rare palms, orchids and more. A great day out for families or anyone. Band rotunda often has live big band music on the weekends too."
