"I would like to say Thankyou to the staff who this afternoon replaced an earring I had bought for my daughter only yesterday. She had been wearing it for less than 24 hours and the back must have been faulty as it split in half while she was swimming. We hadn’t realised this had happened until after we got back inside. We searched everywhere and my daughter found the broken back but not the actual earring. I really appreciate the understanding of the staff for replacing not only the back but the earring itself. Thankyou."

"Absolutely disgusted in the "store managers" behaviour, attitude and customer service. As i was waiting to be served, i over heard the rudeness she was giving the customer before me, i seen her eye roll and take deep breaths as she approached me as if it was to hard to deal that previous customer. I was in there to find a solution for a bracelet i purchased only 3 days before as the link had come apart. The manager predicted what had happened and had no intention to listen or give me a solution. She was absolutely disgusting to deal with. I had spoken to head office the night before and was advised what to do. I didn't even purchase it from this store but it was the closest to home. After this experience and being discriminated verbally I will never step foot in this store. Thankfully the next day I was in Brisbane at northlakes and the lovely Kaitlyn and beautiful store manager without hesitation helped me out, they could see it had just lost its link and replaced it and I purchased a stunning gold necklace for my daughter for her birithday as I was so happy with their customer service and friendliness. Take a drive 10 mins down the road to Sunshine plaza Michael hill or if in Brisbane Northlakes. Save yourself being treated like dirt."

"Wedding ring snapped twice due to design fault and when it occurred for the second time we requested a refund. This process took in excess of 3 months and the manager was lazy, ignorant and very unhelpful which resulted in us making a complaint to head office. We finally got the outcome we wanted in the first place and we will never be purchasing from Michael Hill, and particularly Michael Hill Kawana again."

"Called in to have a watch battery replaced under warranty. Told they weren't sending watches away for repair due to backlog but if I bought watch back next week they could. Why the store could not keep the watch and send to repairer when convenient is beyond me."

"Our Wedding Day and every day after will now be RUINED!! Thanks to an apparent policy which was NEVER explained and if it was we wouldn't be in the situation we are in... The staff have showed no compassion which is heartbreaking for us. We purchased our engagement ring and went to look for a wedding band. This store had a matching set to the engagement ring but not in my size. The sales woman who I would have assumed would now what she's talking about when she made the recommendation to go with rose gold as the engagement ring is partial two tone which I was hesitant with because whilst wearing the engagement ring you can't see the two tone. I liked the white gold they had in stock but the sales woman continued with saying the rose gold would look nice so we went with that. When the ring arrived and was able to be tried on against the engagement ring it looked terrible and this stores response to that was unfortunately you are stuck with the choice because of our store policy!! This is a wedding ring and will be apart of our future for the rest of our lives and now our wedding day will not be the same because the store will not allow us to order the colour we would prefer. Is it the customers fault that the store doesn't stock all colour and sizes to suit the customer?? NO!!! The store needs to be more focused on the customer and customer service rather than worrying about if they can re sell a ring which by the the way I'm certain almost every ring in their cabinet will not sell because they do not suit or fit everyone. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND WILL NEVER EVER DEAL WITH AGAIN.. Thanks for leaving us with a horrible memory for our special day."
