"The worse staff I have ever seen. When I got in she asked for my ID , and about it is completely fine .. I showed her my digital ID she refuse it and said had to be a proper one .. I walk to my car and got it , when I came back and showed my ID she said I couldn’t buy anything because I was barefoot. Refusing sell .. which century are you living ? What’s the problem buying drinks when barefoot ? Also , I’m 35 years old .. bearded grown men NEVER WILL COME BACK TO THIS STORE. Saturday 29/01/23 - 3pm"
"My BWS Teneriffe Story. Its my first-time to visit and buy at the shop. Unfortunately I did not bring my physical I.D with me. The lady duty at date-timed (26 May around 7:00pm) politely told me she cannot accept mobile I.D to determine my age (note that I got my passport and australian visa issued ID in my mobile). I would have to go back again and get my physical card. The staff is commendable, because she is following the protocol. Now, BWS Emporium, BWS CBD and BWS East Brisbane doesn't mind to check my mobile I.D. As people nowadays relays everything on their mobile phone (payment, identification and transactions). I came back at the shop with my physical card, I showed it to the lady, I asked for her name politely, without any raise of my voice. She then blurted out "you're being rude right now and I can see that in your face that your mad". Is this how staff at Woolworths Group and BWS brand train them? What happened to listening to your customers, analysing the situation and giving the best advice and answer to the customer? There was a guy (white) in corporate outfit and was kot asked on his I.D, and then me an Asian race just wearing black polo and pants was asked I.D? Doesn't make sense. The conversation went so defensive mode to the point, I would have to ask how many months or are you new working here? I work with customer service and the number one you wouldn't want to do is making assumptions, always listen to your customer. Why we're upset, explain the policy and there can be chance the mood of the customer would change if not with a defensive mode and the word "you're being rude". When I was smiling to the staff. And I cannot forget that, as well as the line she said to me "I know you're above 25 years old, but I need your I.D" there's no sense of sorry but its the policy we need a physical I.D. I would've understand everything, there was no empathetic customer relation here, just purely defensive and arrogance. That lady is rude, I asked am I being rude to you? I was asking the name, and there's accusation of me a rude customer without hearing my side. Get better and try harder at training your staff BWS. Not good enough."
