Reviews
"Very rude and unhelpful staff. Will never buy from this shop again. I left without purchasing went straight to bws and found staff there much more professional."
"Worst manger ever in this store so rude to his workers ! I wouldn’t even give it one Star"
"Tried to make small talk at the checkout but she didnt hear what I said, she then made a big deal out of it instead of just moving on, finished the interaction by taking half a year checking my ID to make sure it wasnt fake... Better service at bws outside with more variety"
"My mother and I were preparing for my upcoming 18th party after school last week, when we were abruptly yelled at across the store by one of the staff members that they would not be serving us. The then explains it was due to the fact I was in school uniform. I had then proceeded to show the staff my ID to prove that I was of legal age, but the staff were still reluctant to serve us. I understand that as a student in uniform, liquor stores have all the right to deny selling any products to me, but I was not holding or touching any bottles, and my mother was the one paying for them. After asking the lady at the counter why we weren’t allowed to buy anything but the several other mothers in queue with their children in school uniform were, we were told it was because my mother was purchasing alcohol for a minor. we then proceeded to explain that I was over 18, once again showing the staff my ID for proof, but we were hit in the face with another denial. My mother (who is Korean and has been living in Australia for 20 years now), was then rudely told by staff that she needs to ‘properly learn Australian laws’ and then proceeded to humiliate us in front of the whole store, before bidding us farewell and hoping that we’ll shop again with them. We most definitely will not."
"Awful staff. They let anyone push in even when you have a collapsed carton with cans falling out. They think it is funny that people push in. Save yourself the waste of time and go to bws outside!"
