"Booked an appointment for my son for a hair cut in the week that offered a 15% discount, mistakingly entered the wrong time in the calendar and presented for the appointment an hour later. My credit card was debited the full amount of $43 for a no show (as per their terms and conditions). I agree that a cancellation fee should apply, however I find it outrageous that a business can get away with charging the full amount as a cancellation fee. I will contact the ACCC for further advise and to make them aware of the terms and conditions. I will not revisit this barber shop."
"Well I have had my hair cut by Harry about 5 times. He is great and his ability to cut my hair is truly excellent. Last time he was not available and I got the other guy, I don't remember his name. He was unfriendly from the moment I walked in. He tried to get me out of there in 10 minutes, even though I was not happy with the cut so far and I had 20 minutes to go. (There was no-one else waiting.) I mentioned this, "I have 20 minutes to go, why are you rushing me out the door?" He didn't understand how to do my hair, and when I got home I had to tidy it up myself with a scissors. Now, when I tried to book, I cannot, it says: "You have made our staff uncomfortable and we won't take any more appointments from you." Harry 10/10, this guy, 0/10. Note that I was going to Stones Corner Hair and Beauty for 8 years until they closed, and the lady manager there was always friendly, and all 3 ladies did great cuts. I didn't seem to make *them* uncomfortable."
