"came back from an overseas holiday to be told my cat was not there and had gone missing after getting out out of the poorly maintained cage, going through an unsecured door and a broken fence. I only wish that this property was better maintained and I did not have to be put through this ordeal because it has caused me heartbreak and I am still wondering what happened to my cat and when if at all he will be found. JADE JEWEL is posting on here about her wonderful experience with her cat WHEN SHE RUNS THE PLACE. Back on here - fabulous, is this because she needs her job Stephanie Baker who also works here hasn't taken her review down don't believe a thing another one, jesse holdings says it is wonderful - take no notice of this one either, and Stephanie baker, she is the manager, what a farce"
"Never again. Our two guinea pigs stayed here a few months ago whilst we were on holiday. When we got them home we realised one of them had dramatically lost weight. We spent a small fortune visiting two vets on top of the cost of the accommodation, we were given some antibiotics and critical care. Unable to figure out what was wrong, I emailed Dolittles the next day simply asking whether they had noticed any unusual behaviour or changes in eating, and I never got a response. Thankfully she made a full recovery. We have since also got a dog, and I can safely say I will not be using this company as accommodation for any of my pets in the future."
"If you are considering placing your cat at this retreat, I would take a visit first. The Receptionist is the only good thing that I can compliment. As you arrive, the reception area has rubbish all over the floor and as you walk through there are rooms also with rubbish. Once you get to the cattery section on the hill, it is just a free standing shed, dark and the so called windows appear to be approximately 6inch square perpex covered holes. It had more of a smell than the usual cat smells, the cats that were there did not seem happy, there was no exercise run and I can only describe the rooms as a cell type structure with concrete floors. This really is a shame as the location, which has plenty of room, is beautiful and the young girl at reception was quite knowledgeable about animals and really seemed to care."
