"I had the best experience with Shalnele on Friday. She truly knows her hair. I came in for a wash and hair straighten, and she worked her magic on me. Shalnele gave me the best hair wash along with the best head massage I've ever had! Shalnele gave me a blow wave instead of using the hot iron, and she straightened my hair with the blow dryer like no other, my haor is still straight 2 days later!! Just amazing!!! This woman knows her stuff plus some! Shalnele is super knowledgeable about hair! She left me filling like a million dollars!!! Honestly Shalnele you are so amazing!!"

"I've taken my little boy here twice as the haircuts are cheap and both times the haircuts were aweful. The second haircut had to be fixed up by another salon. Needless to say I won't be back and prefer to pay more for a half decent haircut. After sharing my experiences with a few people in the profession, I was told that S+S mainly employ trainees, hence the cheap price. However if thats really the case, should there not be a senior checking every haircut/style before customers walk out the door? The other reason for my low rating is because the staff there don't seem to have much compassion, care or empathy for little children. The service we received was poor indeed."
"I just had a half head of foils done by Jackie. She has done an amazing job, best foils I have ever had, the colour is perfect. She was extremely accommodating and professional. Employees like Jackie are very hard to come by, she is an absolute asset to S+S Hair and Beauty North Lakes. Thank you!"
"My hair dresser clearly didn't know how to cut curly hair. After shampooing twice and washing out the conditioner, they then proceeded to brush my hair? Making it flat, somewhat straight and nothing like my natural hair is. How is cutting it like this supposed to be right? When it dries it bounces back into curls! So when my hair dried, not only was my fringe crooked, my side pieces by my ears were wonky and uneven. STOP CUTTING CURLY HAIR LIKE STRAIGHT HAIR. Absolutely devastated as I look like a fluffy mess now. Don't bother if you have curly hair. Don't bother if you don't like having 2+ hair dresser changes. Don't bother if you wait upwards of an hour (not including cut), all for a short hair cut! All your staff need training in cutting curly hair. $68 to be left looking and feeling ridiculous!"
