Our founder, Paddy, has nearly 30 years of experience in the hair industry. He started his career at the prestigious Vidal Sassoon in London at the age of 16. After honing his skills as a cutting specialist within the salon environment for over 10 years, Paddy followed his passion into education by teaching in the Sassoon academies. He has since moved to Australia, where he continues to create bespoke education programs for salons and companies across the country. Paddy's professionalism and high standard of service, developed through years of experience and working with celebrities, shines through when he's behind the salon chair. Currently, Paddy is accepting new clients for cuts only, and you can easily book an appointment with him.

Anya, with over 20 years of experience in the hairdressing industry, strives to provide an unmatched experience for her clients. She previously owned a hair salon for nine years before successfully selling the brand in 2019. Anya has had the opportunity to work with renowned hair styling teams at New York Fashion Week and LA Fashion Week, as well as collaborate with esteemed fashion photographer Mark Sullivan-Bradley. Her dedication to her craft has earned her the 2012 Business Achiever Award. Anya freelances at Indie Hair from Monday to Thursday, and although her availability for new clients is limited, you can inquire about booking an appointment with her.

Danielle, the founder of Indie Hair, has been in the industry for over 20 years. Her passion for creating an independent salon where stylists can share their talents has come to life through Indie Hair. Danielle's broad skills are evident in the variety of styles worn by her long-term clients. She has also showcased her talent backstage at Fashion Weeks and various events. However, her true joy comes from building long-lasting relationships with her regular clients as they navigate through life's changes together. Danielle believes that a great hair stylist should not only create a style that is wearable but also one that receives compliments weeks after it's been done. Communication and continuous training within the industry are key to achieving this. Currently on maternity leave, Danielle is not taking on new clients, but you can join the waitlist for when she opens up to new appointments again.
