He is also a Visiting Professor at the Department of Social Work, College of Social Work and Community Development of the University of the Philippines-Diliman, where he teaches mental health social work. Victor has been practicing in the mental health area in Australia and New Zealand since 2007 and holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Social Work. He is currently pursuing a PhD in the field.

In addition to his extensive experience, Victor has completed specialized training in the diagnosis and treatment of complex trauma and PTSD at Utrecht University and Intensive Prolonged Exposure Therapy training under Professor Edna Foa, a renowned expert in trauma and anxiety treatment at the University of Pennsylvania. Victor is a registered Social Worker in the Philippines and New Zealand and is a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers and the Philippine Association of Social Workers.
