"After my cats general check up and vaccination the vet told me my cat had lots of plaque build up and we should book a cleaning at over $1000, once I got home I looked at photos online as a guide and proceeded up check my cats teeth and gums, I couldn't find any sign of plaque or gum issues, the vet looked at one side of his mouth for barely 2 seconds, I was able to hold his lips up and look for a good 30 seconds on both sides, seems like this vet is trying to up-sell something completely unnecessary and expensive and probably a great little cash grab for them, I'll be finding another vet."

"Surgery with Tony went well (he is a great veterinarian) however this is the second time this vet clinic has provided incorrect information or none at all. In the past I was charged for an ear check without being asked first if I was happy to go ahead with it or if I could afford it /how much it was. They just took her out the back and did it then told me "that's $70 extra" at reception. This time I was given a quote & then the vet nurse made a mistake with overcharging me due to not taking into account money I had already paid towards the quote. She refused to acknowledge this was a mistake and fought me on it. Nothing was adding up and she also tried to tell me the quote was "old" - yet it states on the quote - valid for 30 days. It had been 19 days. I had already paid $75 but she only took off $40 from the quote. No idea how she come up with this amount - receptionist said the same thing. She told me she thinks it's incase more medication is needed at the end. It wasn't and wouldn't be as it was only "prior to surgery medication." Yet I was still being charged in the quote for an extra $35 and another $37 for incorrect calculations. After the surgery, it was still being charged with no extra medications supplied. I continued to fight this for an hour. She finally said she would give me a discount (which was just the amount I had already paid finally being acknowledged). Super manipulative and did not once apologise or empathise. I had to deal with 3 different staff members before I gave up and paid the other discrepancy. No support or understanding and also was not given one bit of after-care information. The vet nurse walked away and didn't even finalise the meeting, she passed it on to reception and did not provide any info on the surgery or after care. My bulldog had teeth removed and I was not even told whether she has stitches, when or what she can eat etc. They just pushed me to pay and leave as the Vet had gone home so they "couldn't do anything more". Super dissapointing that there was just no acknowledgement for the mistake. She made me feel like I was in the wrong and that she was doing me a favour by giving a "discount". Which was literally just the overcharged amount being given back. My partner was witness to these appointments and discussions so I was not alone in my "perception" of how this would be happening. Neither of us could make sense of any of it and we both know what we were told - misleading, incorrect information. It all kept changing and with no actual explanation when we asked. I am not one to write bad reviews on Google but this was left so messy and unresolved so I want others to be aware of this too. Always double check what you're being charged for and make sure there's a real explanation behind it."
