"I give WOOLIES COORPAROO 1 star as I want to get the attention of their MANAGEMENT. Here is why they get one star: • Excellent parking • Really wonderful friendly staff • Close to my home, easy access BUT!!!! They DO NOT DESERVE 5 STARS because: 1. They sacked their trolley contractor and loaded that extra work onto existing staff. This means that there are ALWAYS dozens of trolleys left dangerously in the way of pedestrians and vehicles in the carpark - it’s Dodgems Bedalum and added with dumbarse hotheads it can be dangerous walking thru the carpark - all for the sake of saving a few dollars. Disgraceful conduct by Woolies Management! Minus two stars penalty. 2. ALSO! They cut back on staff in Fresh Fruit and Vege Department, so they are rarely ever fully stocked and the poor staff that remained are desperately overworked. This is costing WOOLIES in lost sales, plus two days ago I was able to claim $40 of FREE MEAT because staff left an incorrect and misleading price label on the shelf, presumably because they are short staffed and overworked. Minus two stars penalty! Sometimes Management needs to be held to account for short-sighted cost cutting measures which backfire and become profit cutting measures. I will give Woolies Coorparoo 5 Stars when: 1. They put more staff on rosters in fresh fruit and vege AND 2. They take urgent action to mop up the horrible mess Management created when they lumped existing staff with trolley duties. That is truly shameful and if I worked there I would get my Union onto it as a critical safety issue for both staff and customers. In my opinion, any related accidents caused by trolleys in the carpark are directly attributable to Woolies Coorparoo. AND 3. I get a reply to this review from Woolies Coorparoo Management When all three things occur I will re-rate them with 5 Stars."
"Empty shelves in 2023, welcome to Woolworths Coorparoo. A confusing and disgusting mess of a store and a real embarrassment."
"The bakery in this woollies is a joke, they never have anything on display or what they have is bad quality (either burnt or old). The rest of the shop is good and most staff are very helpful"
"This is my local Woolies and I visit regularly. Quite possibly the worst Woolworths I have been to. There are regularly bare shelves and shortages of staple items, no matter the time of day. Multiple times I have purchased food only to bring it home and find that it is past its best before date. I really hope it improves because the Coles across the road is just as bad."
"I live 800m from this store and now will travel to South City Square for my shopping..more than double the distance. Why? It's dirty and old, every shop multiple items I need are out of stock. I can no longer do a full shop here, I always need travel to another store to complete it...and this is just for basics...meat, vegetables etc. The last four times I have been there they have had no BBQ chickens, not in stock or being cooked. Goto South City square...it is clean, modern and well stocked."
