At Warringal Private Hospital, we prioritize the safety and well-being of our patients and staff. Recently, an unfortunate incident occurred where a pallet containing plasterboard sheets was dropped onto a section of our building. This resulted in damage to a lounge area ceiling and flooding in certain parts of the hospital. However, we took immediate action to ensure the safety of everyone on-site, including patients and healthcare workers. Patients were promptly relocated from the affected areas, and admissions and surgeries were temporarily postponed while the situation was assessed by our engineers and regulators.
We are pleased to inform you that admissions and surgeries have now resumed as normal, and all our services remain open. While the impacted area of the hospital has been temporarily closed, we have relocated patients to a safe area to provide ongoing care. We sincerely apologize for any distress caused by this incident and express our gratitude for your understanding and support during this time.
Exciting news awaits as Ramsay Health Care announces a remarkable $180 million expansion of Warringal Private Hospital. "I had a fantastic experience at Warringal Private Hospital. The recovery nurses and level 4 nurses provided exceptional care throughout my stay. Their expertise and dedication made my recovery smooth and comfortable. A big thank you to the entire team for their top-notch care!"
"Poor experience in theatre staff. Very unprofessional with noise and chatting. Before theatre care was really good, after in ward care was ok. Food & Service was awful. Lovely nursing staff, I put it down to poor hospital management or under funding. VIC HOSPITALS NEED HELP. Uncomfortable Beds.Hope I don't need to use this hospital again."
"I spent a week in this hospital back in January the and am about to go in again in a couple of weeks for further treatment. I found the staff to be very polite and friendly. They could not do enough to help me. I felt very unwell after my procedure. And they kept a close eye on me They even admitted me the day before because I had to travel to get here. The only thing I would say is it would great if they could give you your Admission time a week before your admission rather the the night before to give you time to plan travel for those that have to travel to get here over all great experiences"
"I was recently a patient at Warringal Private Hospital. What wonderful, caring people they are! Extremely friendly and caring staff, from the receptionist to the nurses and doctors. I felt well taken care of, especially by the nurse, Alison, who is really lovely, very nice and competent, and they made me feel comfortable during my stay. Thank you everyone."
"I had an overnight stay following an angiogram. The nursing and service staff were good. The nurses seemed to be let down by medical and ancillary staff so everything took too long to happen. The evening meal was very ordinary. I would say a meal that no one else wanted re-heated in a microwave. To be fair, it was 8:00 PM by the time I was ready to eat. Breakfast was ho-hum. I don't know why I was visited by a physiotherapist and the pharmacist. Bill-padding I suspect. At 3:30PM with nothing happening I discharged myself and walked out. The hospital in general is worn and dated and overdue for refurbishment."
