About the Business
Welcome to Queensland Dental Group for Kids, a caring institution dedicated to the oral health care needs of children in Australia. Located at Spring Hill on Wickham Terrace, our team of professionals is committed to providing the best possible dental care for infants, toddlers, school-aged children, adolescents, and teens.
At Queensland Dental Group for Kids, we understand the importance of starting kids' dental health off on the right foot. That's why we offer a diverse range of preventive, conservative, restorative, and surgical treatments to meet the unique needs of each child. Whether your child requires basic dental care or more advanced treatments, our team is here to assist them every step of the way.
Led by our experienced Paedodontist, Dr. Sue Taji, our team provides specialist-level dental care in both dental and hospital environments. Dr. Taji is highly skilled in managing children's dental health and has extensive experience in treating a variety of dental conditions. From routine check-ups to complex dental procedures, our team is equipped to handle it all.
Our services include check-ups, treatment for extensive dental decay, toothache, dental trauma, dental anomalies, and interceptive orthodontics. We also provide specialized care for children with medical conditions. Dr. Taji is available for consultations at multiple locations, including Wickham Terrace in Brisbane CBD, the Wesley Medical Centre in Milton, North Lakes, and Kenmore.
We take pride in offering specialist paediatric and general dental care for infants, toddlers, school-aged children, and teenagers throughout Queensland. Following the current recommendations and guidelines, we recommend children to have their first dental visit at age one or when their first tooth erupts.
It's important to note that researchers have not found a link between breastfeeding and early childhood caries. Dental caries is a multifactorial condition influenced by factors such as tooth quality, diet, snacking habits, bacteria types, and parental oral health.
Our team also includes Dr. Farid Khan, a highly experienced dentist who specializes in the diagnosis, prevention, and management of dental erosion and toothwear. Dr. Khan has been practicing for over two decades and is a fellow of prestigious dental organizations. He has contributed to textbooks and research projects in the field of toothwear and dental erosion.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Sue Taji enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with her husband and three children. Her personal experience with her daughter having Autism allows her to better understand the needs of families and children with Autism and other special needs.
We invite you to schedule an appointment with Queensland Dental Group for Kids and experience our dedicated and compassionate approach to children's dental care.

"My daughter has seen Dr Sue and we can not be happier. Dr Sue Taji is super professional and made my little one feel special. She used her magic skills and my child is not scared and very happy to keep going back for her regular check ups. Thanks Dr Sue!!!."
"Dr Sue Taji and her husband are great dentists! My 4 year old daughter needed dental work done and a day procedure / operation as he had a sizeable hole in her tooth. I was informed of the different treatment avenues available, including doing nothing (which wasn't recommended). Dr Sue did a great job and was so lovely to my daughter each time she visited. I also had a checkup done and it was very good. Thanks !"
"Dr Sue Taji truly is an amazing dentist. Gentle and re-assuring, would not hesitate to recommend to others. She is an expert in her field!"
"Dr Taji has taken care of my daughter's oral health for past 4-5 years. Every single appointment has been awesome and my daughter looks forward to her appointments. Dr Taji is highly knowledgeable, has great attention to details and provides honest advice upon consultations."
"Stay away from Sue Taj. Overserviced and money grabbing surgery. She tries to convince you to undergo procedures which when seeking a second opinion are not necessary or can be treated more conservatively. SEEK A SECOND OPINION BEFORE signing the consent form or agreeing to procedures. Use at your own risk."
