"Shocking, a fraud and a sham. Seriously are the reviews fake??? A supposed lymphatic massage involving some acrobatics of laying on and pulling off warm towels on my body and limbs, towels which she warmed up on her some standalone heater, some shaking and rubbing actions on my body, breathing down my face, and talking too much and ended in about 40 mins when it was meant to be an hour and costing me $140. The worst massage therapist I have ever tried."
"Deb is wonderful! I came in with a shoulder issue her technique with deep tissue massage made all the difference. I felt totally comfortable throughout the treatment. I highly recommend Deb to others. Thanks Deb! Heather Mcdonald"
"Have been seeing Deb weekly for the last 4-5 weeks for Lymphatic Drainage Massage. She is very professional and I could tell after my first massage very experienced hence why I return. I would highly recommend Deb."
"I attended clinic today and saw Deb in severe pain down my LHS. I have a crush L1&L2. Deb was very thorough in gleaning my medical history prior to suggesting some therapy. I liked how she used cream and not oil and adjusted pressure so I wasn’t in pain, she suggested some exercise I could do at home and asked how I felt after, I could say the pain had somewhat subsided and I definitely felt much better, I will be booking again for follow up, a lovely caring thorough practitioner, thanks."
"I rarely write negative reviews though I often read reviews before visiting any health professional so was hesitate about writing this review however feel like I should given I have had lots of remedial massage therapy sessions with many different health professionals in the past. I often stick to the same health professional & have a remedial massage every 2-3 weeks but wanted to find someone closer to home hence thought I would try this clinic. Unfortunately I was left quite disappointed with my remedial massage with Debra Fenelon for the following reasons which based on past review/s has occurred before too: 1) I paid for a 1 hour remedial massage but it was only 15 minutes. The price of the 1 hour remedial massage is average-expensive being $120. I usually pay between 100-120 for 1 hour remedial massage. While I never time how long a massage should be I would expect with a 1st visit if you pay for an 1 hour remedial massage after taking medical history, changing clothes the massage would still be about 45 min long. 2) Debra spent 10-15 min entering information like my date of birth, phone number, email into the computer which wouldn’t be an issue if she wasn’t also checking her phone, moving patients around (i.e doing things that weren’t related to my appointment). We then finished the appointment with 10-15 min to spare. I understand wanting to stay on time but I wasn’t late to my appointment & it doesn’t take 10-15 minutes to change after an appointment. She said it was for some ‘me time’ but I found this just odd. 3) She used a lot of oil which I have had before with remedial massages but the amount she used was quite excessive. 4) While the massage helped slightly it definitely didn’t help as much as I expected & this is given I do have massages every 2-3 weeks so it wasn’t like I only go when I have pain & expect everything to be fixed in 1 visit. 5) I got about 4 different texts prior to my appointment with different dates & time to my booked appointment which could be just a computer issue. I did tell her about this. 6) She moved my appointment about 1-2 days before hand which I was fine with as I understand sometimes emergencies/other things do occur but she didn’t explain why, I didn’t ask as it might be personal but as a health professional myself if I ever move a patient’s appointment I always apologise at the very least & try to explain why + thank them for changing their appointment for me as this is the least I can do to be respectful of other people’s time. She did thank me but given all the above it was just too many strikes for me to to ever want to go back to this clinic again. Hopefully she will read this & learn from this. As I said before I was hesitate about posting this since I rarely write negative reviews but felt others should be warned."
