About the Business
Welcome to Julie Wilson Psychologist iNDiGO healing with horses, hounds and art, a unique institution nestled in the picturesque suburb of Warrandyte South, Australia. Located at 23 Hillcrest Road, our establishment is dedicated to providing holistic healing through the powerful connection between humans and animals.
At iNDiGO healing, we believe that true healing begins with looking within ourselves. Inspired by the wisdom of Carl Jung, our approach is centered around helping individuals tap into their inner selves and awaken their true potential. We understand that looking outside may lead to dreams, but it is only by looking inside that true clarity and transformation can occur.
One of the key pillars of our institution is the profound bond between humans and animals. We offer therapy sessions that integrate the healing power of horses and hounds, allowing individuals to experience the therapeutic benefits of these magnificent creatures. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or simply seeking personal growth, our equine and canine-assisted therapy sessions provide a unique and transformative experience.
In addition to our animal-assisted therapy, we also recognize the healing power of art. Our institution offers art therapy sessions, providing individuals with a creative outlet to express their emotions, explore their inner world, and discover new insights. Through various art mediums, individuals can engage in a therapeutic process that promotes self-discovery, healing, and personal growth.
Julie Wilson, our esteemed psychologist, brings her extensive experience and compassionate approach to every therapy session. With a deep understanding of the human psyche and a passion for helping others, Julie creates a safe and nurturing environment for individuals to explore their emotions, confront their challenges, and embark on their healing journey.
Located in the heart of Australia, iNDiGO healing is not only a place of healing but also a point of interest for individuals seeking a unique and transformative experience. Surrounded by the stunning natural beauty of Warrandyte South, our institution provides a serene and tranquil setting conducive to healing and self-reflection.

"I first starting seeing Julie over 7 years ago, before I went through a divorce. Julie made me feel comfortable. Julie is exceptionally warm, caring and patient. I continue to see Julie on a rare basis, when I need some help. I highly would recommend Julie."
"Therapist's approach was for client to just stop exercise and double food intake...Strategies were to just distract client from consequential anxiety...No anxiety management strategies provided or educative resources...Client was deeply distressed after one session..Received invoice to spam box which I didn't get, then received threat of additional late fees despite emails requesting the invoice...No touching base as to how client experienced session, poor rapport/ therapeutic alliance building skills...We decided to go elsewhere and have received exceptional support encouraging slow reduction of exercise and increase in food intake... Client feeling well supported. ..Received a text from Julie a few weeks later stating she didn't feel 'it" to be a good fit for the client...I assume she meant herself and she stated she had consulted our GP to organise a new referral PRIOR to consulting us around her decision not to see us again... .. when I responded to her text she did not even get back to apologise for the lack of courtesy...She was lacking in rapport building skills, poor client ethics and treatment model poor interpersonal skills, lacked sensitivity to the complexity of issues of eating disorders...looks good on website but stunningly poor stunningly in our experience."
