"Brought a couple of 340amp batterys, well packed and delivered on time. Been mostly trouble free but have in series at 24V and they seem to be have drama's balancing. Support has been good trying to sort out this issue. Hopefully the balancing unit they are supplying free of charge will rectify the balance issue. Thank you."

"Do not trust their batteries. I purchased a lithium 170ah battery 18mths ago. It was not functioning properly. Took to an independent testing centre & they determined the battery was only holding 56AH. Aussie Batteries for weeks ignored my request for a warranty claim & finally agreed I could send the battery back to them at my cost & if they found it to be faulty would refund me. They replaced all the cells in the battery & offered to send it back but I've asked for a refund. They are now only offering me a pro rata refund as stated on their website. Pro rata refunds are in breach of the consumer guarantees act as they cannot make deductions. Why should I be deducted a time of use charge for an item that has a major fault & had a 5yr warranty. I will be reporting their practices to the ACCC & taking further action through the office of fair trading if they don't refund my money in full. If you've bought a battery from these guys I recommend you get it tested as it's highly likely the battery is rated much less than what they've stated. Do not accept a pro-rata refund for a faulty product. If the product is faulty they need to replace or refund you in full regardless of what they state in the warranty. A warranty is always in addition to the basic rights under a consumer guarantee. UPDATE: The battery was installed in my caravan by a caravan auto electrician in April 2023 where previously it had not been used but always left inside my home charged with a ctek lithium charger as my caravan was being built. The issues were only identified shortly after its first install. I sent the battery back to Aussie Batteries which they asked me to do at my cost after I had it checked by a battery testing centre to ensure it was faulty. I refused to accept a pro rata refund as the battery had a major fault & Aussie Batteries also confirmed this when it was returned. To date I have not received a refund for my returned item & I will be putting in a request through QCAT for my refund. Do not trust their warranty"

"Over the years I have bought solar panels for camping, 2 x 140 ah batteries for my troopy and more recently the 2 x 120ah lithium batteries with charger for my camper trailer. They have a lot of online information about solar camping and battery setups and charging for the novice. When I have had a technical question their friendly staff have always helped me out. Great products and great service."

"7/3/23 Warranty Update after a lengthy 4wk debate, today advised by Manager a refund minus $100 was agreed after persistence… was required as batteries were professionally tested, the outcome NOW IS A REFUND. Aussie Battery warranty, on two 6v Giant 550ah deep cycle batteries, still after weeks plus warranty issues not resolved . This Business preferred to send two of the same out minus $290. A so called prorata amount (not legal) No acknowledgement of the test results which confirmed these batteries never held or will hold 550amp hours! THE POINT..NEVER HELD! FULL REFUND is consumer law when a major fault is detected with warranty refunds. Aussie Batteries have now stopped negotiating the receptionist is left to answer all the calls from disgruntled rural off grid customers. Steer clear these batteries based on personal experience is a inferior product. Not great customer service online and by phone Not giving up FULL REFUND IS OVERDUE"
