"I would absolutely recommend against going here based on my personal experience. At least not until their staffing issues and communication methods are addressed. The systemic communication issues from this team are very problematic. With no personal responsibility taken, except minimal communication, and an insincere apology, when I just picked my car up. Firstly, in the interests of fairness to Eagers, I have a rare BYD model that is difficult to source parts for, and requires sometimes significant investigation beyond the typical model to service. The service technicians did take time out to do the running around and calling BYD Australia on my behalf to attempt to get more information. Hugely appreciated. Only to be met with a dead end in terms of parts for servicing from BYD. Their time I was not charged for either. That effort is why this review is 2 stars and not 1. However despite a message left via the central booking team, with a promise I would be contacted, I had to front Eagers in person myself after a couple of days, only to be informed of this lack of progress. There was no call or text to inform me of what was going on and phone calls were not picked up. While I was there in person, I promised to email the service management staff with information about how to conduct my transmission oil replacement, which was my main concern to get done. I sourced the relevant info, sent the email and confirmed I'd sent it with them over the phone. Five days later and no word at all. That's a huge period of time. Me waiting to hear something back. And calling, unable to get through to the service managers. I could not get my messages returned and I needed to run to Eagers this morning from Kedron, only to be informed they "cannot source proper transmission oil", despite my email clearly stating a readily available alternative oil. Which suggests they probably hadn't read my email. And possibly either didn't care to, or are overworked. My conversation in person with their service rep, was absolutely minimal. No explanation provided about the breakdown in communication. Why I hadn't been told there was nothing they were able or willing to do. No communication with a manager. Just my keys and car returned The front receptionist mentioned most of their customer engagement is fielding non contact complaints from the service bookings / management team. Very frustrating for her. This is important to note. It means I did not receive this poor service specifically for being a problem customer with a headache vehicle. It's clearly a broad issue that if addressed, will vastly improve customer experiences, and most likely, their reviews on Google. I do hope that Eagers takes this feedback seriously and attempts to improve both their communication model, and what appears to be some significant understaffing and siloed communication between departments."
"Booked in a service for my 4x4 2 weeks in advance. Called the day prior for confirmation to be told it was never booked in, even though we had an email confirmation. We took out a service care plan when we purchased our car through Easy Auto, we also had $500 credit towards tyres which we were meant to get on the service. Told by 2 different managers they would call Easy Auto to organise the service to be prepaid so we wouldn't lose out on the service and tyres as it was an error on their end not ours... Never got a call back. Called numerous times to be told the manager isn't in. Poor service. Lost out on a service and $500 towards tyres even though we had already paid for it when we purchased the car because of an error on their end."
"The service last week I had on my vehicle went adequate, compared to the reviews i skimmed through before the service took place. However, I was told I was going to receive a message/call 5 days ago from Eagers Holden regarding the amounts for the relevant parts I needed. However, I received no contact from them. I have tried to contact them regarding amounts for parts and booking my vehicle in again, unfortunately they failed to answer (multiple times) and/or failed to return contact. I completely understand that there is online booking although how else can I know pricing and book at the same time. This was my first time at Eagers Holden with the view to be an ongoing and long term client, such a shame to see they lack the ambition to retain their clients."
"UPDATE: Brakes started squeaking after getting the front brakes repaired, holden told me it was $700 and the rear brakes had seized, took it to Dan at autotune down the road who found and fixed the problem and it was that Holden never put a paste on when replacing the front brakes to prevent squealing!! So not only did they cause the problem but they then tried to charge me $700 for a problem they completely made up! Never ever ever take your car here and if you do, get a second opinion because Dan is 30 seconds down the road and saved me $700. If you’re looking for a sign to take your car elsewhere this is it. Had repairs done and immediately when taking my car home it started making a squeaking noise. After sending enquires weekly and calling just to be told someone would contact me back (no one ever did) I finally was able to arrange to take it back in two months later so they could fix what they did for it to start making this sound. They then told me it’s a $700 fix for a problem that apparently wasn’t seen when getting it fully serviced OR when they had it for other repairs but also conveniently happened the day I picked it up from eagers holden. Later spoke to people that have had the same issues with eagers holden and gone to other mechanics and been told there’s nothing wrong. Additionally their customer service is poor and their communication is non existent."
