"Booked autism test as it said on their website they were face to face appointments. After they received full payment, they changed the tests to video online and I cancelled them as we can’t undertake video. They ended up charging $475 for cancelling the course we never did. Have applied for help via Vic consumer affairs dept for resolution. Avoid at all costs and don’t trust what their website says."
"Had a great experience so far! I took my very first assessment test that I purchased from their website and the entire process went very well. I’ve been looking to get a formal mental health diagnosis for a really long time so I was really happy to have come across the CMH test! I was assigned to a psychologist named Paul for 2 sessions to go over the results that I got from that test (especially for the second session), he is very patient and listens to my concerns very well. The receptionists are such lovely ladies too! Overall, I’m really satisfied with this service. :)"
"I recently got an Autism diagnosis through the Adult Autism Assessment process with Felicity Allen, and it was a great experience. Felicity was warm, calming, approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. She created an open and welcoming environment. I highly recommend Psychology Melbourne and Felicity for any adults seeking assessment."
"Pam made me feel comfortable right away. Sometimes, I thought we were just chatting, and it wasn't an assessment at all. Which really helped me not be so nervous. Even the lady's that answer the phone are so lovely and helpful."
"I used their matching service to hopefully find a good fit. I was matched with one of the psychologists who was advertised as being queer friendly. She was not, she was not understanding and would contradict me when speaking on homophobia and transphobia I have personally experienced. She mentioned IQ and she as a reason people may be prejudiced which was very shocking to hear from a psychologist. The way she spoke on schizophrenia showed a clear lack of understanding of the illness which was concerning to hear from a professional. I made a complaint about her, they refunded my appointment cost and asked for me to speak with the principal psychologist to further explain the issue. In that appointment with the principal psychologist she seemed to hold similar views as the initial psycologist I saw. She also was not able to correctly use transgender language and misgendered a past patient. She told me that their psychologists only meet once a year to discuss and educate on queer issues. She asked me to help educate her staff by talking to them when I said no she then asked for YouTube recourses or organisations they could use to educate their staff. I found this to be extremely inappropriate. In that session she also talked about how my complaint had upset the psychologist I made it about which again is very inappropriate. I found that they did not handle the complaint well at all, they clearly are not educated on queer issues and should not be advertising themselves as such. I would suggest that any person who is looking for modern and queer friendly psychologists to look elsewhere."
