"I saw Dr Caroline Ryan after having intermittent hearing issues for a couple of years in one ear. My GP and an audiologist both recommended I see an ENT specialist after confirming that my hearing was severely impeded for months at a time even when my ears were clear of wax. By the time of my appointment with Dr Ryan after waiting several months, my hearing was better again for now. She cleaned out my ear, confirmed my hearing was better again and said "it's just wax in your ear". I reiterated that my hearing had been poor for months regardless of what was in my ear, and she simply said "well come back during one of those times then and we can assess". Which is exactly what I had TRIED to do, but the clinic has a months long waiting period, so it's pretty much impossible to see them promptly when the problem is bad. What a waste of hundreds of dollars. Don't bother."
"We are very happy with Dr Ryan’s service. She is very knowledgeable and a great communicator. She explained the procedure and the post-op care in a simple and child friendly language to my sister. Would definitely recommend!"
"Caroline is awesome! and great with people."
"Cannot even make an appoinment for over a month with either of the Dr's, even with a referral and private health. Will take my urgent issue elsewhere."
"Not very happy unfortunately. I heard great things about this ENT (Caroline Ryan) for kids and so took one of mine to see her. I felt like its a bit of a production line with the kids. There was unusual problems in our case and I would expect that the surgeon would follow up with me directly rather than getting her office staff to call a few days later to update their records with what happened. In hindsight, I don't feel that all the surgeries recommended were actually warranted which is partly why it feels so much like a production line. Seems strange that nearly every kid that goes to her needs tonsils and adenoids removed as well as ear grommets. I would get a second opinion if you go to see her. Additionally, for the money charged as a private patient, if I need to come back a reminder letter being sent out in a year isn't too much to ask. I was taken aback by the rudeness of the secretary who informed me that no, of course they don't do this, its up to me to remember. Actually, this secretary was rude every time I saw her. (There is another girl there who was nice.) A bit of customer service and people skills wouldn't go astray guys, your just another business at the end of the day, not gods."
