In terms of relationships, Martin helps with issues like mismatched libido, gender or sexuality confusion, intimacy and connection, difficulties relating or fighting, and feelings of distance.

At our institution, Martin offers evidence-based counselling services, incorporating Medicare-approved Focussed Psychological Services such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Martin's practice is rooted in philosophical principles seen in Humanistic approaches, as well as attachment and system theories.

Please note that Medicare rebates are only available for Martin's social work services with an eligible Mental Health Care Plan from your General Practitioner (GP). Medicare rebates are not available for couple's or partner sessions.

Individual sessions are priced at $200 for a 50-minute session, with a rebate of $79.05 available with an eligible Mental Health Care Plan. This means an out-of-pocket expense of $120.95. Couples or partner sessions are priced at $240 for a 50-minute session, and rebates are not available for these sessions. All prices are in Australian dollars.

To make the process smoother, we encourage you to ask your GP to fax an eligible MHCP before your first appointment. We can then process the relevant rebate at the point of payment, usually deposited back into your account within 2-3 business days. However, please note that MHCPs cannot be used for couples or partner sessions.

Martin also offers Focussed Psychological Services, which are Medicare approved and evidence-based counselling modalities. These include Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing (MI). Martin's couples or partner work is informed by attachment theories, system theories, psychodynamic theories, and emotional focused therapy.

Martin is registered with the Australian Association of Social Workers and the Society of Australian Sexologists, ensuring professional standards and ethics are upheld.

At our institution, we provide a safe, open, and non-judgmental counselling service for individuals from heterosexual and LGBTIQAP communities, including those in consensual non-monogamous relationships, sexually adventurous communities, and those who work within the sex industry. However, for clients who are new or interested in learning about kink or sexually adventurous practices, we recommend linking in with educators or counsellors who specialize in this space. We would be happy to refer you to an appropriate practitioner.

It is important to note that Martin's service is a professional counselling service, and at all times, both the client and the practitioner must remain clothed, seated separately, with no physical or sexual behavior permitted of any kind. We have a zero-tolerance policy in regards to any inappropriate behavior.

If you have a fantasy or sexual desire that is illegal, we understand that this can be a challenging issue. While we believe that everyone should have the right to access appropriate services, Martin does not provide a service for these conditions. In such circumstances, we would support you in accessing a forensic psychologist who would be better placed to support you with your needs.

Martin Gladman is a highly experienced Clinical Sexologist/Sex Therapist, Relationship Counsellor, and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker. He holds a Bachelor of Social Work (Hons), a Masters of Science in Medicine (Sexual & Reproductive Health) Psychosexual Counselling, and a Specialist Certificate in Integrative Couples Counselling. Currently, he is completing his PhD, researching genderqueer expressions within religious and philosophical spaces.

With his extensive experience working with LGBTIQAP communities, Martin has a particular interest in working with gay male couples and issues relating to men's sexual health. However, he enjoys working with all individuals, regardless of their gender or sexuality.
