Love our sessions , she always makes me feel better about myself. Staff are always courteous and helpful and love the cosy atmosphere of the clinic. "Firstly, for a practice that claims to offer autism assessment, support and intervention for children with autism spectrum disorders, developmental disorders and disabilities, behavioural difficulties and disorders and ABA therapy specifically catering to children, it shocked me that the owner 'Michelle' and staff displayed no empathy, compassion or understanding to my 7 year old sister who was stimming (running up and down the hallway, repetitive behaviour) while she was waiting for her appointment. She was not behaving aggressively or causing harm to anyone, yet the owner felt it necessary to yell at my sister to sit down and be quiet because she was being too loud. My sister (who is autistic, globally delayed developmentally, experiences behavioural difficulties and is non-verbal) couldn't understand what the owner was saying anyway, but does this practice not deal with children who experience challenging behaviours? Even children without these challenges can be loud and disruptive, so it surprised me that the practice was ill-equipped to deal with the loud volume of a child. Secondly, after this incident occurred my mother was told that the practice does not cater to children who are non-verbal, even though the therapist was informed of my sister being non-verbal when the appointment was made. Why then, was the appointment made in the first place? My mother and sister's time was wasted and no apology was given. Do not bring your children here, especially if they are experiencing challenging behaviours, disorders and disabilities (even though on the practice's website they claim to provide support, assessment and intervention to children with these exact challenges???). Horrible experience I wouldn't wish upon anyone."

"Michelle is a terrible psychologist, I wouldnt recommend her to my worst enemy. She hung up the phone on me after 20 minutes and lied about it, then charged me for a full hour, cancelled my appointments without telling me, literally said to me, "why dont you just get over it?" She frequently judged me and provided no useful advice, showed up late, found any reason to leave the room and didn't hesitate to kick me out as fast as possible. I'm so glad I found a competant and helpful psychologist which made her look absolutely clueless in comparison. If you actually want help and someone who is good at their job, avoid her like the plague. Don't bother contacting me to 'resolve this' there is no excuse."

"My Son and I started seeing Michelle about 4 months ago for family therapy and I have found her to be a very caring, extremely intelligent, compassionate lady. At all times, she maintained a high level of professionalism and I felt that both my son and I were really able to open up to her, which is never an easy thing to do in the situation in which we found ourselves. Michelle has excellent communication skills and was able to put my son at ease by bringing in her beautiful therapy dog. This went a long way towards establishing trust and allowing my son a safe environment in which he was able to verbalise his innermost feelings. Michelle was able to establish a professional therapeutic relationship with both of us within our first sessions with her and I would highly recommend her to anyone who needs to engage in family therapy or any other therapy for that matter.
