"Wouldn’t go near this company! 3 weeks before the south coast bushfires, my builder rang tradesure to ask if we were covered for bushfires as it was coming up the coast. The answer was YES and have a copy of that phone call in email form. Our house was nearly finished, about 8 weeks to completion and the start of our new life on the south coast. Yet despite that yes, they found every way out of paying due to some “fine print” clauses. Now if they told us at the time of the phone call that we were not covered due to these fine print clauses our actions both the builders and ours would have been completely different. We rely on such brokers for accurate information and advice as it is their area of expertise. However , we had that advice that we were covered as extra security and hoped the fire wouldn’t hit us. Well the fire did not miss! It COMPLETELY destroyed everything on the property. House, shed, and contents including motorbikes tractor, surfboards, appliances and furniture for the almost complete house, builders trucks, utes, tools, scaffold to name some of the items. They completely wiped us and just told us to engage lawyers. Suffice to say they have destroyed our future on the south coast and the builders business and the mental health of us who have been affected by this. Once they said yes, that’s it. They should have paid! Use their own insurance, just do the right thing! 3 years on we are clearly still not over their actions.If with them I would leave and if considering using them DONT!"

Email or call and the guys and girls are right onto your enquiry, they suggest a 24 hour turnaround on some enquiries but it never, ever takes that long. Good prices, easy payments. I'm staying as long as they'll have me."

"We took out contact works insurance with Tradesure which I was told was valid for 2 years. We were told at the end of 1 year we had to pay for the second year. Then 22 months later we were told this policy would now expire. We specialise in architectural construction and insurances are requested by the architect now and then. It was embarrassing to explain extra costs to the client. Even more embarrassing to explain the insurance was void. In discussion with Kris Minns he refused to accept any responsibility. He didn't want to deal with any sorry comings of his own and simply hung up on me. Very embarrassed and disappointed customer just trying to run an honest business and do the right thing by his clients."

"I enquired about the insurance that was claimed by the solar installer for the damage they caused on the first day of installation but the guy who I spoke to was arrogant will not entertain my call.I am the property owner so I can't understand why they will not speak to me wherein the installer said the insurance will call me.So instead of waiting for their call, I called them instead so what's the difference of me calling them or them calling me. After few minutes of talking to the guy, I rang the same # hoping that someone nice will understand my frustrations on the damage of my property but this girl Keisha was helpful at the start then started raising her voice to me I have the record of our conversation on my phone as my evidence of her yelling at me so she can't deny that.Well Ombudsman is just a phone call away."
