"Initially came over from RACQ as Suncorp offered a premium that was very competitive 3 years ago. Moved my house/contents/hobby farm and comprehensive car insurance over. I just realised that in February they decided to put the premium up on my car MORE THAN $50 PER MONTH TOTALLING $239/MONTH. My house insurance with Suncorp is literally $217/month. Spoke to 2 different staff asking for a return call from their supervisor. Nothing. I want a refund of my $50/month for the last 5 months. Absolutely ridiculous when 4 other insurance providers can beat your premium by over $70. NRMA offered the exact same high cover with a no claim bonus for $147 per month. Absolute joke. One staff member said it was my responsibility to chase discounts within the first 4 weeks of my policy rolling over. A PAYING LOYAL CLIENT WITH NO CLAIMS TO EXPLAIN THE INCREASE SHOULDN'T HAVE TO CHASE ANYTHING! Suncorp should have some common decency and give me a call or text to say that they can offer me a better rate!"

"Firstly, if I could give no stars… I would. Poor handling of my car through insurance. It took me 8 months to receive the car back. They sent my car to be repaired at a body shop that had NOT ONE good review in the last 2 years. DO NOT RECOMMEND"

"Hit by one of their customers and trying to get a hire car as mine is a write off. Waited 45 mins to get through. I provide all their customers licence details and registration and they still say there’s insufficient info to give me any information on the claim. Just stalling the process to avoid responsibility. I now have no car and no info on anything. Poor poor service. No wonder they have a 2 star rating. Stay away from these guys."
