Welcome to Dawson Street Children’s Co-operative (DSCC), a unique and vibrant child care centre located in the heart of Brunswick, Melbourne's inner north. As a parent-run, community not-for-profit organization, we are dedicated to providing intentional teaching and play-based experiences for children aged 12 weeks to 6 years old.

At DSCC, we believe that every child deserves a nurturing and stimulating environment to grow and learn. Our dedicated educators work closely with families and the community to create educational programs that meet the individual needs and interests of each child. We value feedback and actively seek input from families to continuously improve our programs.

Our centre boasts four spacious and well-equipped rooms, each tailored to the developmental stages of different age groups. From infants to kindergarteners, we provide a safe and inclusive space where children can explore, discover, and develop their unique abilities.

One of the highlights of our program is our Art Program, specifically designed for our 3-year-old kinder program. Through various artistic activities, children are encouraged to express themselves creatively and develop their fine motor skills. Additionally, our Tree Kinder program for 4-year-olds allows children to connect with nature and explore the wonders of our local environment.

As a community-minded organization, we are committed to building strong partnerships with local businesses and organizations. We believe in the importance of fostering a sense of belonging and connection within our community. Through our programs and initiatives, we aim to instill a love for our country and promote cultural awareness.
