Tina Lawrence's journey in law began with an Arts degree from the University of Queensland. She then spent several years living and working in Japan and Hong Kong before returning to Queensland to pursue her law degree in 2004. Tina gained valuable experience as a law clerk at ReesLaw in Toowoomba before practicing family and succession law in Cairns for five years. In 2014, she established her own solo practice in southeast Queensland. Tina's commitment to excellence led her to recently complete her Masters Degree in Applied Law in Wills and Estates (Succession Law).

Our fees at Lawrence Sinclair Lawyers are fair and transparent. An Initial Consultation, which includes GST, is priced at $275.00 and must be paid on the day of the appointment. After the consultation, you will receive informative materials to review and keep for your reference.

To provide you with a better understanding of our costs, we offer a range of services with clear pricing:

1. Preparation of Application for Consent Orders for Property and Parenting: $1650 - $4,400, depending on the complexity of the case. If both parties agree on the settlement and have provided asset, liability, and financial resource values, costs can be kept low.

2. Initiating Court Proceedings: $2,200 - $3,300, varying based on complexity.

3. Attending Mentions and Interim Hearings: $2,200 (straightforward matters) - $5,500 (more complex matters).

4. Final Hearings: $22,000 - $35,000, depending on the choice of barrister and the number of days required.

We understand that financial circumstances can differ, and in some cases, we may be able to accommodate lower deposits or issue interim invoices. However, our obligation once we start working on your case is to continue, which may require full payment before proceeding.
