Hello, I'm Grace, the Service Manager for Busy Bees at Glenroy. I have been in the early childhood sector for seven years and have a Diploma Qualification in Early Childhood Education. As a local to the Glenroy area, I am passionate about connecting with our diverse community and improving early education for the benefit of our little ones. At Busy Bees at Glenroy, we believe that the supportive network we provide is our super strength, promoting strong connections between children, educators, families, and the community.

One of the exciting programs we have introduced is teaching and sharing Auslan (Australian sign language) with the children. As a Hard of Hearing person myself, I am thrilled to share this language and its benefits with the children. Learning Auslan enhances educational and personal development, increases memory retention and motion processing, and brings joy to communication. It provides another pathway for children to express themselves and use their voice.

We are also excited to continue our Music with Mary program. Mary, a local music teacher, has been sharing her passion and knowledge of music with the children for the past four years. The children eagerly look forward to and enjoy every Music with Mary session.

As the Assistant Service Manager, I, Casey, aim to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all children, families, and educators. I believe in incorporating children's interests, developmental needs, and voices, as well as family input, professional expertise, and national frameworks in our learning environment. This allows children to explore various opportunities and reach their full potential.
