"Sent to checkout at power tool section because all self service checkouts were closed, the service was slow, server rude and obviously didn't want to help. We paid for our goods, smiled and left quickly. We will shop at Mitre 10 from now on."

"Seems like Bunnings Capalaba is still trying it's hardest to be No.1 at the worst service in Australia. I am not sure if the guy I talked to in the paint section was Zak but my experience with him is abysmal. He attempted to match a beige paint sample and the first one was a grey colour so he tinkered with it and produced a darker grey colour. He then said to me that was the best he could do. He tried to tell me it was a match according to the machine and his eye where clearly it wasn't (verified by Wattle later on). He then got totally unhelpful and said I was welcome to go to a paint shop if I wanted. His coworkers had a less than impressed look on their face when he made that comment and I replied with "well that's helpful isn't it!" This is the second paint match attempt by Bunnings that I have seen recently that was far from a match (never had a problem at the Vic Point or Manly store with paint matching). Could I suggest Zak is trained in matching paint and perhaps less in chatting with customers about their graphic design job while other customers wait. Or perhaps I could suggest to him "you could always go find another job if you want"!"

"Went in to get some paint samples (22/07/23) and the bloke working there Zak was absolutely incredible. Super friendly, really helpful, and even helped explain how the paint machine worked to my son. Awesome service 100%"

He helped sort out screws and bolts for my grandson's birdcage. It was a sweltering day with a staff shortage, and he had a queue of people waiting for assistance; he kept his cool and dealt with everyone super professionally.
