"The staff at Boronia Post Office are so rude and condescending. They are abrupt and have no idea how to treat people with respect. I've been sending bulky letters in an express post envelope for years for work and never had an issue until today when one staff belittled me and questioned what was in the envelope. Then said I am not going to touch this you will have to post it yourself. Geez your a post office worker not the police."
"Bring up to 4 stars for the excellent passport photo and submission services they provided. -------------Below is the old review-------------- Two stars for my fine experience with the staff. However their opening hours is really bothering me. Usually all my parcels can be safe drop at home if no one home. But sometimes when some retailer requires signature without telling me on their website, it's a nightmare for me to find time to pick up from this post office. I was told by their staff I can come early in the morning to pick up parcels - apparently not this morning as both front door and back door are shut tight when I got there around 8am. Please kindly consider full-time workers who travel to city every working day!"
"Australia Post changed the collection centre from Bayswater to this Boronia shop and I've had nothing but troubles with post being undelivered ever since! Staff are rude and call me by the wrong name when it clearly says my name on the parcel and ID (which matches)."
"I recently moved to Australia from the States and had to send some important documents to America. I also had some Amazon returns. As I was standing in the queue, another Aussie gentleman stood at another counter (although there was only one queue). They serviced him without any issue. When it was my turn, the lady who works there tried to scan my barcodes and told me I needed to change the phone from dark mode to light mode for their scanner to pick it up. She said she'll let me in the queue once I'm done. I left my place in the queue to do that, and since the lady was busy helping someone else, I thought I'll stay in the queue where the Aussie gentleman stood earlier (and got serviced). I am a person of color. One other employee told me where I was standing was not a queue, and I needed to go and stand at the back of the original queue. Thankfully, the lady who was helping me originally told her that she had agreed to let me back in the queue to help me, but she couldn't see me if I hid behind another counter. All the employees looked at each other, smirked, and made me feel so unwelcome. Then once my Amazon returns were processed, I mentioned to her that I have some documents to send to the States. She replied "Sir, can't you see I'm still processing your Amazon returns. You have to wait till I'm done". I remained quiet till she talked to me. Following that, she asked me if I wanted standard or express postage. I asked her what that ETA and costs were to compare the two options. She was very irritated by my question, but hesitantly took me to the wall with the envelopes and told me the cost. Filled out the form, shipped my documents and left. I have been to the worst USPS locations in America, and never have felt this level of disrespect and racism disguised as microaggressions."
"Seriously who is delivering these packages? Waited the whole day for a parcel to arrive, not a knock on the door and was left a pickup card after 5pm!! And when I pick up my parcel. Unbelievable she just go to warehouse and come back told me, I can't found your parcel because too much parcel in warehouse. Can you come back later. She just use 30 second to search. OMG this is twice. Lucky I will moving on Jan."
