"The food is fantastic, probably the best steak I’ve ever had, but know what you’re getting into. I had the porterhouse, which was the cheapest steak on the menu, which the menu listed as $50. Ok, steep but fair for a specialist place like this, and when told it came with chips and salad, felt a little less bad about it. The chips and salad are included in the meal, but not in the price. I paid $71 in total. For just me. And that’s without appetisers, desserts, or drinks. Again, wonderful food and the staff were lovely. But until I win the lottery, never again."
"The non descript entry leads to an upstairs restaurant. The atmosphere is nice and cosy, as it is a small restaurant. The consensus was that it's a great steak restaurant, with friendly and efficient service. The pricing is to was good and with entree, main, desert and a drink or roughly 100 per head. 5 stars."
"This place gives off a cheap American diner feel, which sort of ruined the experience with the objectively good tasting steak. The steak (which comes in a set menu) is amazing here, probably one of the best I’ve had and the price is fair. 1. The menu is two stapled piece of paper. Surely they could laminate it. 2. We received burger buns and olive oil as a starter, which was odd. A sourdough or baguette would be better. The quality of olive oil was also cheap. 3. Coleslaw with pickles were served as a salad. Why are they serving steak with coleslaw and not a garden salad? It’s steak, not ribs… 4. Lots of sauces to dip the steak in. This is unnecessary, the steak tastes good already. 5. The chips were thin fries (maccas style) With such a good tasting steak, I think a thick cut would suit better Don’t come here for instagram photos or the experience. Only come here if you purely want a good piece of steak."
"A small cozy restaurant serving a simple menu - but that’s all you need. The Sausages were amazing, and the steaks were cooked to perfection. The eye fillet was incredibly tender and the porterhouse was thick and juicy."
