At the heart of Accelerate Academy is our Manager, Charlize. With her vast experience in the music world, both as a solo performer and as part of bands, Charlize brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our institution. Having studied and graduated with her Bachelors, she has played an integral role in the growth and development of numerous music schools and programs. Charlize's dream is to show people their true potential and create a community of courageous and fun-loving individuals. When she's not at the Academy, Charlize enjoys spending time with loved ones, exploring new culinary experiences, and immersing herself in the world of psychology and neurodiversity.

Naomi, another talented member of our team, hails from the Fiji Islands where music is deeply rooted in the culture. Growing up in a musical family, Naomi started performing on stage at the tender age of 4 and continued to be involved in bands and musical productions throughout her school years. She is a self-taught musician proficient in guitar, piano, and flute. Naomi's passion for music led her to study Music Theory and subsequently teach music and creative arts classes to students of various ages. She particularly enjoys working with choirs and singing groups, always on the lookout for unique instruments to learn. When she's not at the Academy, Naomi can be found spending quality time with her husband, working on marketing plans, volunteering at her local church, or immersing herself in nature.

Ben, another experienced music tutor at Accelerate Academy, possesses a wide range of expertise in teaching various musical instruments and styles. From drums to viola, classical to jazz, Ben's versatility shines through in his teaching. Having studied at JMC (John Martin Cass Academy), he now imparts his knowledge to students at schools and is actively involved in music bands and orchestras. Ben is a go-to person for big productions, showcasing his passion and dedication to his craft.

Lyresha, a multi-talented musician, vocalist, songwriter, and performer, is an invaluable asset to our team. Starting her musical journey at the age of 7, Lyresha taught herself music and even formed and trained a 12-member youth band by the age of 15. She recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Music, and is most passionate about teaching proper singing technique. Lyresha believes that music provides a unique platform for self-expression and loves helping students explore their own musical journey. When she's not in the studios, Lyresha can be found serving delicious coffees at the Hideout, volunteering at her local church, journaling, creating art, writing songs, or embarking on new adventures.

Erin, a multi-instrumentalist with a love for singing, is currently pursuing a vocal major at JMC (John Martin Cass Academy) as she works towards her Bachelor of Music. Erin's passion lies in teaching students of all ages, both individually and in groups, particularly interactive bands. She is also deeply interested in therapies and aims to complete her Master of Music Therapy to incorporate it into her teaching.

Last but not least, we have Jordan, affectionately known as the "Queen of Piano." As an incredibly talented pianist and music tutor, Jordan dedicates her time at the Academy to helping students interested in or already pursuing AMEB grading. Her passion for life shines through in her teaching, and she thoroughly enjoys sharing her love for music with others.
