"Not sure why some people are sour about this store. I am Asian and don’t look like a model, and I have never been treated poorly in the 8 years I’ve shopped here. Every staff member has always been very kind and helpful (and if not it’s usually because they were new or training). I always leave with a beautiful outfit and a smile on my face, in no small part due to the excellent customer service. As for comments regarding sale items and returns - everything is detailed acutely on their website if you are ever unsure. No returns for things like final sale items has always been the case."
"No point in leaving too negative a comment, they don't seem to check these or respond anyway - they don't let you return stock that's "final sale" not really sure what that means, and its not clear that you cant return them. Bought a couple of dresses for my wedding, (for my mum and they didn't fit) I attempted to return them but they said they don't return - no exceptions... I only found out about this when I walked in the shop, where the women were also not so friendly. I'm disappointed at the online wording, misleading content and the fact that I couldn't return perfectly good dresses. I would have rather purchased full price just to ensure I had the option to return if they hadn't been right - which of course they weren't. I found a pair of shoes for my wedding I liked on their website, but looking elsewhere because there is no respect for the customer. This was my first experience with the business and I can safely say I will never have a nice view of them, and will never shop there again."
"Carolyn was beyond helpful when I was choosing a dress. Thank you for your patience, knowledge, and friendliness. I'll definitely be back :)"
"5th of June 2020, 3:15pm. I was accompanying my ethnic girlfriend to the shops today, with intent of buying a dress for an upcoming party. We arrived here to browse and the lady working behind the counter, had the doors locked. I thought, okay, maybe they are closed. But their sign out the front said “shuts at 4:00pm Friday.” The lady looked directly at my girlfriend and then looked at me, before turning her back to us. She continued to ignore our presence even though I made an obvious effort of being noticed; deliberately standing at the front door for a few minutes, waving my hands at her. She would awkwardly glance at us every so often, which I assume was to check if we were gone. Could her ignoring me have something to do with my race? I am a proud Indigenous Australian with prominent features. Eg. Olive skin, large nose. Are your employees here trained to shun away people with Aboriginal traits? I find it so disappointing that as an aboriginal man, especially after just finishing Reconciliation week, that we are still being discriminated against."
"I had the best experience in Review Indooroopilly this evening. The lovely lady who could not do enough to find what I needed was Setha. Thank you so much I am so looking forward to wearing my Emerald Trina Dress"
