"This review is to express the frustration I have experienced accessing your Taigum store. Recently is the second time I have had issues with the same worker. I brought 2 watches to have the battery replaced and the pressure test as I was previously told at the Chermside store this was mandatory to do the pressure test with any battery replacements. The worker I had issues with was an older white male who worked alone on 10th June. He quoted me $24.95 to have the battery replaced usually it is roughly $30. I made a remark that it was cheaper compared to the last time I had a battery replacement and pressure test at Chermside but the worker told me it would take 20mins which was normal for the replacement and pressure test. When I came back to pay for the service I asked “why was it cheaper today? Last time it charged me almost $30 per watch ”. He responded and said that it was a chronograph watch with side push buttons so it shouldn’t be in water regardless of the 50m - 100m capacity and if this is the case, pressure tests are only done upon request. He then offered to do a pressure test for both watches but said it will cost more and be another 30mins. I was in a rush today and did not have the time to wait 50mins for the service. I was very displeased by this service. A few months ago I again ran into the same worker when a second hand fell off of my clock face, I asked if this could be placed back on and a quote on price. The same man responded that mister minit do not provide that service and I needed to go to a watch maker. I took the same watch that day from Taigum to Chermside and the Chermside staff had no issue to put the second hand back on and quoted me a reasonable price. I am disgusted by the service provided by this man and will gave reasonable time to respond before making several public reviews detailing the service provided. Please properly train this worker as the service at Taigum is poor and the service at Chermside is fantastic."

"I came today to enquire if it was possible to engrave the back of a watch. Adam knew about the type of watch I was going to have engraved and gave me some really thoughtful options of how to put a rather long message inside it. I just picked up the watch and I'm beyond blown away! It's exquisite! The writing is gorgeous and flowing. It's exceeded my expectations!! I'm immensely grateful and I can't boast about what a lovely person Adam was to me. What a great experience!! Thank you for your time and assistance!"

"Had a key cut at another place in Chermside which didn’t work. Was passing through Taigum and decided to ask the fella here if he could fine tune the key! He advised that the previous place had sold me a key that wasn’t even the right size and he cut me another straight away! Guess what it worked!
