"Unfortunately have to reiterate the sentiment in previous comments that the quality of Archer shoes are just not worth the $200+ price. Returned shoes to store with a hole between the seams with less than 10 wears and was told that nothing can be done. According to the AAAC, even a minor problem in goods must be fixed or repaired for free by the company. Unfortunately I did not have the original receipt as was not expecting to need it, however, they did not accept a credit card statement noting the purchase (and I'm sure they would also be able to go to the date of purchase on their POS system to verify the sale). All in all, don't bother with the exorbitant price for shoes here as it does not mean quality."

"Zero after sales service. Wrote 2 emails sent photo of metal shank coming through the sole of a shoe i had hardly worn. Tried to call store multiple times and phone never answered. Despite having purchased many shoes from them never again. No response to my warranty question... I have worked in footwear industry and in my experience this is definitely a warranty issue. Quality and aftersales service very poor for price paid...over $200 so spend the money for consumer affairs complaint or throw in the bin and they lose my business...if this is how they treat previously loyal customers this business will ultimately fail."

"My adult daughter finds it very difficult to find comfortable, practical shoes. We visited the Chermside store where Fraser (staff member) didn't put us in the too hard basket. He listened to my daughters concerns and tried different brands and styles of shoes until we found the perfect fit. He was very patient and had very good product knowledge. "Have trouble finding comfortable shoes as have had foot problems for years. Tried on a few before I got a great fit with a pair of Arches sneakers. The sales person Kez was extremely helpful with fitting & knowledge of the product. I have found them extremely comfortable to wear. "My husband and I wandered through Chermside this morning, casually looking at shoes but not really intending to BUY anything today. We picked up a pair of white sneakers, looked at the price ($209) and immediately put them back down again and were about to make a quick escape! However, a lovely, friendly lady asked what we were looking for, and offered to help. To cut a long story short, about an hour later, we left the store - each of us WEARING the most comfortable new shoes!!! We also carried a third pair of shoes (those white sneakers!!) and the shoes we'd worn into the shop in boxes. I want to HIGHLY recommend this shop for both the quality of shoes ... (the most comfortable I've ever worn!!) and the terrific service. Monique, (the manager of this store) was so friendly, authentic, professional and helpful. She made the whole shopping experience really FUN!! I felt like I'd made a new friend today ... and I LOVE my new shoes!!!!"
