"Catherine offers a great alternative to the glitz of so many theatre groups. A much deeper understanding of acting. Just wish she offered more classes."
"Catherine is a highly knowledgeable, professional and passionate Performing Arts practitioner. I was a student of hers, and her classes definitely helped me during my Performing Arts/ Secondary Teaching degree at USC, I also know others who have gone onto professional theatre/acting roles after being involved in her classes as well. Very energetic and always has time for her students, and especially those new to Performing Arts. I have seen her first hand turn shy newcomers into outgoing creative leaders who can use their skills both in and outside of the Performing Arts industry. 5 stars highly recommend."
"Catherine O'Neill has taught, directed, acted, studied and practiced the performing arts for over 40 years, including teaching at overseas schools in the UK. The amount of people who have had their lives positively altered is immense and unmeasurable as these individuals who leave the classes after a few / many terms become leaders, confident performers, mentally stronger individuals and positively effect the people around them. In many ways her drama classes are therapy of the mind, body and spirit, only in drama can you feel such empowerment of becoming someone else. I have eye witnessed many individuals lives exponentially positively change because of her teachings and wisdom, my own included. Catherine O'Neill has a Masters of Performing Arts, She is one of only fourteen people in Australia who has one. She has assisted individuals in successfully getting into NIDA Brisbane, I have witnessed this. If you want a shot at acting, if you want value for money, if you want to see, experience and live the stage, check out QSPA website or call during office hours and Catherine O'Neill can share her wisdom with you for a fee.
