"I suffered an ear infection caused by a ruptured ear drum. I decided to go see a certified scuba doctor in KK but it was a waste of time and money with that bloke. Decided to call DAN and they advised me to see an EnT specialist instead at Gleneagles. The latter was so much better and had the tools to deal with the infection. Should have called DAN instead when I first encountered my problem."
"Call the DAN network hotline and trying to expain the problem, got connected to a Doctor who doent explain or Talk English well, did not even tell me his name , but it was around 6.pm (29/01/2019) in melbourne. I am so sored with everything in my body after the bends, he kept yelling saying "I cant help you" if you dont have insurance with me." So drastic and so much drama, i could feel he has not any degree or values in saving a diver life...The doctor and network is based in South Australia. Dr DAN(Divers Alert Network) had an indian accent On, I was having pain for like 9 days still being treated by other doctors who does not share much of my CT scans, Blood test and Chest X-ray. they said they will do another one in a few weeks. That person who treat me before administered Nitreous in my system. From that day got the bends. Thanks Dan for being so supportives to us Divers. And please dont be Unaustralian in our own land. its a shame, if you cant do this job Dr, Please try farming. Because Doctor had an Oath, and if you think you are far from the life misery, trust me Karma will be serve to everybad person there is, Keep breathing and get to understand your patien before you nag up"
"I made the switch to the competition for obvious reasons. Ambulance cover is all that's needed, since treatment in a hyperbaric chamber is free for all Australians."
