Save the Children Op Shop - Kedron 201 Stafford Road, Kedron, Queensland 4031
About the Business
Welcome to Save the Children Op Shop - Kedron, located on Stafford Road in Kedron, Australia. As one of Save the Children's many op shops across the country, our store offers more than just retail therapy. When you shop with us, you not only get the chance to find unique recycled fashion pieces, toys, books, and even vintage and modern day gems, but you also contribute to creating better lives for children both in Australia and overseas.
Our op shop is run by a team of friendly volunteers who add to the unique shopping experience. They are always ready to assist you and make your visit enjoyable. We are proud to say that the majority of our donations are sold through our op shops, but not all of them find their way to a new home. To ensure sustainability, we have partnered with SCRgroup, allowing us to give a second life to clothing, handbags, manchester, and soft furnishings that cannot be sold in our op shop. These items are either re-homed overseas, recycled into rags, or turned into biofuel.
Please note that we are unable to accept mattresses at our op shop. We rely on the support of volunteers to operate our store, so our opening hours may be subject to change at short notice depending on their availability.
Stay updated on how Save the Children is working towards creating a world where every child has a safe and happy childhood. We are committed to transparency, and you can find detailed information about our total expenditure for the year in our 2022 Annual Report.
Visit Save the Children Op Shop - Kedron today and indulge in a shopping experience that not only benefits you but also makes a positive impact on the lives of children.

Reviews
"While the store is always immaculate and the condition of the items better than most, it comes at a higher price. (Understandable). However, I no longer shop here due to the lack of acknowledgement by any staff on multiple occasions. Customers are usually the first to greet the vols or manager and it isn't reciprocated at all. A warmer welcome or any engament at all would change the cold experience of shopping here. The vinnies next door is better imo."
"I just scored a brand new coat with the original price tags on for a fraction of the normal retail price! Yes the prices are higher than Facebook marketplace or Salvos, but there are things here you wouldn't normally find elsewhere."
"A really enjoyable place to shop. Cute displays and pleasant atmosphere. They are open a little longer than Vinnies next door and the volunteers are lovely. Very convenient to be able to park right outside and check out both op shops in one go."
"The price are expensive on any recognized brand-named products even the product look so old. So many products are marked as Vintage, why? because it's easy to increase the price? I'm sorry but Op Shop is still a second hand shop so it should be cheap/reasonable price so that people could afford it."
"my favourite part about this store is it's selection of art and random vintage collectibles. I got my all-time favourite thrift (a huge beautiful painting of hong kong harbour) from this shop, and I've been back a half-dozen times since, and I find something real unique every time. Good place! :))"
