Welcome to Redlands Martial Arts Academy, located at 63 Shore Street West, Cleveland, Australia. Since 1994, Seishin Zenryoku – Redlands Martial Arts Academy has been dedicated to serving the Redlands community. Led by Head Instructor Kyoshi Shane Degney, along with assistant instructors Sensei's Karen Stone, Mark Stone, and Steven Taylor, our team is fully accredited by the Martial Arts Industry Association.

At Redlands Martial Arts Academy, we prioritize the well-being and safety of our students. All our instructors hold Blue Cards issued by the Commission for Young People, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for everyone. Additionally, they possess Senior First Aid and CPR Certificates, further enhancing our commitment to the health and safety of our students.

Our academy specializes in traditional Shotokan Karate, offering classes for both children and adults. Karate, originating from the Ryukyu Islands in Okinawa, Japan, was introduced to the Japanese mainland during the early 20th century. It has since become a popular martial art practiced worldwide. Our classes provide a comprehensive training experience, encompassing both the physical techniques and the philosophical aspects of Karate.

In addition to Karate, we also operate the RMAA Fight Center, a muay thai gym overseen by Kyoshi Shane Degney. Muay Thai, a hard martial art widely practiced in Thailand and other parts of the world, offers a dynamic and engaging training experience. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced martial artist, our academy welcomes individuals of all skill levels.
