Our training revolves around the techniques described in 16th/17th century and 19th-century French fencing texts. We specialize in rapier, rapier and dagger, and gymnasium sabre, utilizing replica weapons and modern protective equipment. By practicing with these historical weapons, we aim to develop authentic period sword fighting skills.

LongEdge Fencing proudly stands as a member of the growing and world-wide Historical European Martial Arts (HEMA) community. This connection allows us to stay up to date with the latest developments in historical fencing and provides our students with access to a global network of like-minded enthusiasts.

Join us every Monday night from 7:30 to 9:30pm at the Graceville Uniting Church Hall, Graceville for our training sessions. These sessions include a combination of solo and group drills, skill development games, and, once authorized, light sparring. This comprehensive approach ensures that our students receive a well-rounded training experience.
