Welcome to the website of Fudoshin Warrior Dojo, also known as Aikido Warrior Dojo. Located in Arana Hills, on Alstonia Street, our institution is a point of interest for those interested in martial arts and health.

At Fudoshin Warrior Dojo, we are a not-for-profit martial arts school dedicated to providing affordable and high-quality Aikido training and instruction. In addition, we offer an Aiki weapons program for those interested in studying traditional Japanese sword arts.

Aikido is a Japanese martial art founded in the 1900s by Master Morihei Ueshiba, also known as O'sensei. Our training focuses on using parrying and traditional sword-based movements, combined with principles of maintaining and taking balance, to redirect and dispel an attacker's force. Aikido does not rely on muscular strength or size advantage, making it accessible to practitioners of all ages and physical abilities.

All of our classes are taught in a non-competitive and supportive environment, with an emphasis on studying the fundamental principles that underpin Aikido. Whether you are a beginner or have experience in other martial arts such as Judo or Jujitsu, you will find a welcoming and inclusive community at our dojo.

Fudoshin Warrior Dojo is affiliated with Aikido Kenkyukai International (AKI) and operates under the guidance and mentorship of Chicko Xerri Sensei, a 6th dan AKI (Aikikai) practitioner from Tokyo. With over 45 years of experience in practicing and teaching Aikido, Chicko Sensei is endorsed by Doshu Ueshiba himself.

Our dojo is located at the Arana Hills Uniting Church Community Hall, at the corner of Alstonia and Cestrum Streets. There is an off-street car park in Cestrum Street, right in front of the dojo entrance. Please refer to the map on our website for directions.

Classes are held on Wednesdays from 7.30pm to 9.00pm and on Saturdays from 10.00am to 11.30am. The cost per class is $10. Our classes for 2019 will commence on Wednesday, January 9th. We welcome beginners as well as practitioners from other Aikido schools and martial art systems.
