"I recently visited this very beautiful BJJ academy with a great culture and vibe. Professor DeAngelo taught very well and with great humour! He also gave very clear direction about expectations for rolling (e.g; tell each other about your injuries, look after each other, easy rolls in middle of the mat, hard rolls at the outer ends of the mat so expectations are clear), which always impresses me. The other students were friendly and keen to share the experience of learning the art, not just smash (although of course if you do want a hard roll that's available at the corners of the mat, just agree with your training partner and it's on haha)."
