"The rating and review of the warranty group Australiasia really don't surprise me. This company deserves 1.5 stars or less because the reviewer has to give one star at least. I lodged my claim today. The consultant got everything right, except for the the price. You can see it happens always in the following review. The Group didn't even know what item is covered under the policy. The consultant even ask me for the purchase evidence. For changing the price, the company keeps me waiting another two business days for just changing the price. The reason they use is they experience technology issue. I strongly recommend ASIC to take deep review of the group AFSL compliance given the large number of customer claims. Don't buy extra cover. It's the rubish among the rubish."

"Absolutely the worst experience dealing with this company. The customer service representatives have zero situational awareness, all they can do is refer to their fine print that does not even make any sense. basically all warranty (refunds etc) is offered “at their discretion”. Absolute waste of money."

"You pay extra coverage so that if the unexpected happens you are not forced to be out of pocket again, but they are the worst company to deal with. I purchased a laptop through OfficeWorks and along with extra protection cover. The hinges seized up, causing my screen to crack and come apart. Now they tell me it is not covered. So they do not cover breakage that is a manufacturing fault. And I won't ever purchase extra cover again, and Officeworks should think twice before offering people this product/ service as it has now left me not wanting to deal with them again either."

"Get 3 years extended warranty for fridge when made purchase from Bing Lee it was nightmare to claim warranty with this, Agent mentioned he could not pass claim because he heard purchased price wrong and after all hassle they will contact authorized repairer within week to sort out claim. Completely unreasonable, don’t buy insurance and avoid buying extended warranty from warranty Group."

"I am so completely shocked at the disgraceful service I have received from this company. If I could give zero stars I would. It has now been 3 months that I have not had a working washing machine, and I'm still waiting for a resolution. I have spent a ridiculous amount of time and money at the laundromat. I should never have gotten the extended warranty because it would have cost me much much less just getting a new machine when this one stopped working. They have repaired my machine 3 times now (each time taking an unreasonable amount of time). After my 4th claim where I was entitled to a replacement machine according to their own terms, I received zero communication for 2 weeks so ended up calling and speaking to a manager there by the name of Afzal, I was so assured I would get a call back the next day, which no surprise did not happen. I filed a complaint after that and then was told that it would take another 2 weeks for a response. So my complaint to say that they were taking too long was now the reason it was taking even longer!!!!! Why is it taking ONE MONTH so far to figure out that the machine has been repaired 3 times and that I should be getting a replacement. When I responded to the complaint manager, explaining that they are in breach of the Australian Consumer Law, she responded saying they are not in fact bound by the ACL!!!!! How do you even respond to such a crazy wrong claim!!! I will never be dealing with JB HIFI again, as they have done NOTHING to help me and Harvey Norman's extended warranty is worlds better than this mob of clowns. I have had to purchase a new machine because I have zero trust left that they will respond in an even REMOTELY reasonable time, so I better be getting a refund!"
