"Being in grade 6 in 2019, gotta say this school is a w. Great teachers like mr higgs, harris, krohl."
"This is an exceptional school, has the close knit small school feels but also the offerings of one of the big hitters.. The principal Miss Angela Bell should be commended for the way that she conducts and manages Sandgate State School. A school where your children are met at the front gate every morning by the principal and as a parent you are greeted with a smile and a wave as you leave your most precious possessions in her care says alot about her and the school that she aspires to operate. Highly recommended as one of the better schools for the northside of Brisbane, worth a visit it will not disappoint!"
"Great community feel in a state school. The staff and teachers have been very helpful especially throughout the challenges of home learning. Will be sending our second there for sure."
"We are pulling our kids out of the school. My daughter is dyslexic, diagnosed over two years ago. The school, to do this date has done nothing to assist her with it. They promised to make a special plan, but nothing. On advising the current principal as to why we are pulling the kids out, she responds with they have the facilities. When I asked then why they had not offered the assistance to my daughter, the response was "Thanks Daniel". The principal, in my view, does not seem to care about the students, but only her reputation. The Admin that I have dealt with are not the friendliest, and in fact condescending. I gave 2 stars because there are some really nice people working there. The principals inability to engage in how to move forward with assisting my daughter, who is falling behind, is the main reason we are leaving, other issues are communication with the school is awful, yes they send out newsletters, but they rarely respond to requests for advice or assistance, I thought it was just me having issues until I spoke to my ex wife and some other parents who have also experienced this. Under current management, I do not recommend"
"Fantastic school, great opportunities for all students. Pool, instrumental program, active in the community and great teaching staff."
