"Unfortunately I ended up witnessing a few of the Junior students assaulting my sister when we were on the train to TAFE . My sister has been attending TAFE and is completing her Cert 3 in Hospitality, one of the jobs that she is required to have is to get her hands dirty and help make coffee's within seconds and a time. It is a pretty grueling job working over 12 hours a day non stop with attending 5 different jobs (including the job of making coffees) all day long . As we were on our way into TAFE a couple of your girls thought it would "a funny idea" to all spray their Coconut mist sprays right in her face all because they all laughed and complained that she smelled like "Burnt Coffee" and "They didn't like it how it stank up the whole train ". They were extremely lucky my sister didn't suffer a Asthma attack on the train as she suffered from severe asthma, she has almost died a few times just from people spraying their fragrances on themselves close by (which that's fine but). IMAGINE being in her shoes when they went up to directly to her face and sprayed it all across her face. While she was choking the students thought it was the funniest acts they have ever pulled. I honestly believe that as a private school I would expect your students to have the best of the best standards when it came to basic manners and behaviors outside in public eye. I fear that the next generation could be suffering heavy corruption because of this disgusting and unaccusable behavior from your students. I really hope you have a good talk to all of your students in you school about basic manners, Respect and Etiquette when everyone is outside out in public with other people. I'm really sorry for this message but it is really disappointing how your students have this kind of behavior towards people in public. I really hope you spread this important message to all of your students on being on their best behavior. If you don't support this sort of behavior DO NOT GO HERE PLEASE"
"I go to this school, it’s amazing! The school is huge and has many opportunities. If you see me around make sure to say hi. Anyways I love Chac!"
"amazing!! its so interesting and modern and the uniforms look fantastic and the school is so cheap!!!! the dramatic bit is that a elephant came to the school and ate all the ice cream we made and then bumped into a tree. so funny and such a amazing school!"
"I went here from '95 to '99 (CHAC only did secondary school back then) and enjoyed my time there. It was only relatively new, less than 10 years old but it provided a stable, secure educational environment with good teachers and good resources. It's really good to see how the school has grown."
"We have had a disappointing experience and withdrew our child after 2 terms. We felt CHAC were strong on discipline and appearance (way too much so), but not enough on content and character. In our experience they' talked the talked' well about their 'Courage and Compassion' motto, but did not follow through in their everyday actions. They seem to cherry pick students based on grades / appearance, without a clear, transparent or credible admissions system. Emails regarding our parental enquiries & concerns were never responded to (or took 3 weeks for a response). The impressions I made at Open Day were not consistent with our experience, or perhaps the school is trying to achieve more 'prestigious status' with the opening of their Primary precinct. But to us, the overall atmosphere was a bit cold and unfriendly. Other parents have mentioned their hesitation to voice concerns for fear of reprisal. On the bright side, my child had a lovely teacher and they have nice facilities."
