"Unfortunately I feel somewhat let down during the interview and enrolment process. I completed all the enrolment forms online, paid the $100 fee and after 3 weeks of silence, I called the school. They shared that they potentially had a place for my daughter and organised an interview. After the meeting I received an email requesting reports explaining that the enrolment process involves gathering of information. Two business days later I provided everything they requested including beautiful letters of references from my daughters school. I heard nothing for over a week so I called up again and was unfortunately told they have strict criteria and if they had a place, it would go to siblings of children at the school and Catholic first. The way I was told was so decisive, I’m doubtful any of the reports or references were even read. I feel my time and energy was wasted including the $100 enrolment fee."
"Do not send your kids here. They have favourites and single out children. Got called “disgusting and gross” in front of a whole grade. Ruined my confidence while I was young and then would get mad when I wasn’t enthusiastic about participating in activities such as the school concert. Got told there was talk about me in the staff room, only being in grade 2. Staff would bully children if there weren’t well off and up to their standards. Bullying would happen between students and nothing would be done from the staff side of things. Blame goes straight onto the students the teachers don’t love. Not a good look for a Catholic school."
"Not at all kind to a single parent. Was attacked all the time before the new Principal and then it appeared the culture there still impacted my Grade 1 child. I was then abused on Facebook by a parent after we could not find accomodation after the floods so my daughter could return to her school friends. We have been welcomed with open arms in another State and slowly getting over how horribly the school and community treated us. Just stick to the amazing state school in Bulimba"
"This school is very average however there were factors that influenced me to heighten the rating, such as; 1. Ms. Burchill, Ms. Foster and Mr. Stone being absolute lads 2. The enrichment for gifted students was fantastic Overall I enjoyed my time here"
"Receptionist (Kelly) hung up on me twice (picked up and hung up as I was explaining) when I was trying to track down a missing child. I was complete distraught and they had no inclination to help or hear the situation."
